This meeting is open to the public. No one should attend the meeting if they are experiencing COVID- or flu-like symptoms, have a fever, sore throat or recently experienced a loss of taste or smell.  Masks required.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

REASON FOR MEETING:  REGULAR

 

ORDER OF BUSINESS:

  1. Call to order and certification of compliance with open meeting law.
  2. Approval of agenda.      
  3. Approval of minutes of previous meeting.
  4. Public comment.
  5. Communications.
  6. Facilities planning and maintenance report.
  7. Discussion and possible action to accept Sauk County to replace the Carrier AC unit for the Hill Music Center.
  8. Discussion and possible action to Contract with Friede & Associates to replace (3) exterior doors on campus.
  9. Financial report and approval of vouchers.
  10. Discussion and possible action on property insurance renewal.
  11. Discussion and possible action on liability insurance renewal.
  12. Discussion and possible action on 2025 budget.
  13. Discussion and possible action on Memorandum of Understanding with University of Platteville.
  14. State WEDC Redevelopment Grant Discussion:

  1. Update from student housing advisory committee.

Members present: Hazard, Hause, Sloan, Sitton, Young, Lohr and Miller  

Members Absent:  

Chair Hazard called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. and Compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified. 

MOTION (Miller/Hause) to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried unanimiously.

MOTION (Lohr/Sitton) to approve the minutes of the regular and special meetings. Motion carried unanimously. 

Public comment:  None.

Communications:  None.

Facilities planning and maintenance report:

Crammond gave the committee an update.  (report on file). 

Discussion and possible action to accept Sauk County to replace the Carrier AC unit for the Hill Music Center:

Crammond gave the committee an overview. 


MOTION (Lohr/Sitton) to approve Sauk County’s donation to replace the Carrier AC unit for the Hill Music Center. 

Motion carried unanimously. 

 

Discussion and possible action to Contract with Friede & Associates to replace (3) exterior doors on campus:

Crammond gave the committee an overview. 

 

MOTION (Hause/Lohr) to approve the contract.  Motion carried unanimously. 

 

Financial report and approval of vouchers:

MOTION (Lohr/Sitton) to approve vouchers in the amount of $4,915.69. Motion carried unanimously.  (report on file) 

 

Discussion and possible action on property insurance renewal:

Ostrander gave the committee an overview. 

 

MOTION (Sloan/Hause) to approve the bid with MPIC for property insurance.  Motion carried unanimously. 

 

Discussion and possible action on liability insurance renewal:

Ostrander gave the committee an overview.

 

MOTION (Sitton/Hazard) to approve the liability insurance renewal.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Discussion and possible action on 2025 budget:

This will be discussed at the October meeting.

 

Discussion and possible action on Memorandum of Understanding with University of Plateville:

This will be discussed at the October meeting.
