Meeting Minutes - July 11, 2013

 

1.  Call to Order.  The meeting was called to order by James Evenson.

2.  Approval of Minutes.  The minutes of the April 4, 2013 meeting were approved.

3.  Security Actions Since Last Meeting.  No security incidents of significance have occurred.

4.  Active Shooter Discussion.  A power point presentation is being prepared on this issue, including workplace violence, for all supervisors and staff.  Training sessions will be set.

5.  Limited Building Entry/Weapons Screening Discussion.  No further discussions took place on this issue.  It is part of a safety survey being conducted.

6.  Supreme Court Rule 60.38.  This committee operates under the direction of Supreme Court Rule 60.38.  The administrative coordinator will be meeting with others to review the status of county policies particularly as they relate to responsibilities of this committee.  The issue will be placed on the next agenda.

7.  Next Meeting.  The next scheduled meeting is Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 7:00 a.m. in the EMBS Meeting Room.
