Members present:     Judge Screnock, Kevin Calkins, Jerry Strunz, Amanda Hanson, Christopher Witek, Leonie Dolch Sharon Boesl, and Lewis Lange

The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 11:55 a.m.  Motion by Screnock, second by Hanson to adopt agenda. Motion carried.

 

Motion by Lewis, second by Dolch, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting.  Motion carried.

Discuss and plan for staff transition:

Look ahead to issues Regina/Melissa face in weeks and months ahead in absence of CJCC

Ongoing discussion regarding program growth and capacity:

Tellurian and St. Clare issues, Boesl to provide reports on

Tellurian outpatient open; under contract to add 3 staff, which is 30 days out for hiring, discussion on outpatient and day treatment

Concern that St Clare not responding to difficult cases and insurance issues. Boesl states Dean HMO allows residential other levels of service, MA pays for.  Any participants receiving bills?

Boesl to meet with Tellurian on Monday, will update committee at next meeting.

 

 

Program Transformation Key Decisions:  New Grant- Alcohol related offenses, one year renewable grant, (not just OWI), need a MOU for treatment court.  Committee requesting grant application and contract for review, hybrid court.  Guidelines for OWI”s

Amanda will look into setting up visit to another OWI court

Do referrals’ 1st thing before staffing’s on Fridays – referrals will be sent secure via email so team can review prior to Friday.  Change presentation no need to read entire referral

Concern on turnaround time for referrals

Goal is charging decision to enrollment should be 50 days evidence based

Are we able to email or provide info via email? Stressful for clients, embarrassing for Judge text needs
