Members absent:       Ruth Browning, Connie Lehman, Dan Brattset and Deb O’Rouke

The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 3:00 P.M. Motion by Albrecht, second by Ramnarace to adopt agenda. Motion carried.

 

Motion by Albrecht, second by Ramnarce, to approve the minutes of the prior meeting. Motion carried.

 

Public Comment: None

 

Communications: Introductions of those present.  J. Krueger informed panel that she is resigning her positon as CJCC.

Review Data: J. Daniels shared information on the increase in felony related offenses from 2011 to 2016. M. Matteson discussed the types of referrals receiving, majority being disorderly conducts.  Discussion followed with R. Ramnarace asking for data on tracking mental health of those referred.  J. Bindl requests demographics regarding age, sex and location of clients.

Survey: Tabled until next meeting.

Future of Youth Justice Document: M. Matteson and J. Weiler discussed the State booklet and how to use.  Consensus is this is a rough draft and shows what the State is looking at.  Step One Training, Step Two Data Collecting and Step Three Assessment Tools.

Name change: No further action to be taken.

Juvenile Offender Data: Information still being collected.  Motion by Albrecht, second by Ramnarace to postpone collection and discussion on municipal juvenile offender data until next meeting. Motion carried
