The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 3:30 P.M. Motion by Bindl, second by Wenzel to adopt agenda. Motion carried.

 

Motion by Calkins, second by Brattset, to approve the minutes of the prior meeting.  Motion carried.

Decision Point #2 – EBDM System Map Narrative

 

Wisconsin EBDM Decision Point #1: Discussion focuses on the need to continue to discuss decision point one and the inability to do so without a representative from the jail and law enforcement.  Brief summary of the responses given regarding record management systems throughout the county is provided by J. Krueger.  The question circles around the requirements of reporting UCR information and if all agencies are required.  Additionally the question of increasing reporting the NIBR should be evaluated as best practice.

 

Wisconsin EBDM Decision Point #2:  Discussion ends quickly as the committee realizes similar to the first decision point; that we are unable to fully discuss these items without law enforcement and the jail being represented in this discussion. 

 

Next Steps:  J. Krueger will reach out to all three Circuit Court Judges, Law Enforcment, and the Sauk County Jail to determine availability and attendance at the next scheduled committee meeting.
