Members present:     Deb O’Rourke, Jerry Strunz, Kathy Laatsch, Amanda Hanson, Lewis Lange, Kevin Calkins, and Judge Screnock  

Members absent:       Dan Brattset, Sharon Boesl, Judge Evenson, Judge Reynolds,

Others Present:                    

 

The meeting was called to order at 3:35 and certification of Open Meeting compliance.  Motion by Strunz, second by Calkins to adopt agenda. Motion carried.

 

Motion by Strunz, second by Boesl, to approve the minutes of the prior meeting.  Motion carried.

Public Comment: None

 

Proposals for Drug Court Coordinator/Case Manager:

Committee discusses in detail the two proposals that are received in response to the RFP.  A number of issues are discussed including budget, availability, hours available, and the scope of knowledge on Drug Courts.  Motion by Strunz, second by O’Rourke to reject the proposals and begin the process for requesting a position be created outside the budget.  Motion carried.

 

                                     

Motion was approved to adjourn the meeting by Laatsch, second by Lange.
