Members absent: Judge Jim Evenson, Ellen Allen, and Deb O’Rourke

The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 4:00 p.m. Motion by Orth, second by Strunz to adopt agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Alexander, second by Orth, to approve the minutes of the prior meeting. Motion carried.
Public Comment: Karla Campion Supervisor of ATTIC Correctional Services; introduction.
Communications: J. Krueger reports update on ADCPI training, Nurse Family Partnership presentation, and Your Choice program.
Vision and Mission Statement: Vision and mission statement are finalized.
Subcommittee Updates:
Court Management chaired by Deb O’Rourke, update given by J. Krueger in light of chairs absence. Committee continues to research the drain that FTA warrants/arrests have on the current system in Sauk County. Working with MIS on evaluating the possibilities and feasibility of an automated reminder system.
System Mapping chaired by Annette Kuhlmann; update given by chair. Committee presents a document to “tier 1” agencies within the Criminal Justice System asking for a series of questions to be answered. Also advising committee that “tier 2” agencies will be asked to do the same at a later date, along with the committees intent to ask for a map of each agencies system.
Court Case Information/Data Collection System chaired by Scott Alexander; update given by chair. Committee is evaluating the resources that are currently being used in the Criminal Justice System by different agencies; including what information is collected, ability to interface systems, along with what data the system is capable of collecting.
2014 Goals: Goals for 2014 including completed year to date items and remainder of 2014 goals finalized.
2015 Goals: Goals for 2015 discussed. Committee decides on focusing their data collection/evaluation to three program areas. This includes diversion, re-entry, and alternative sentencing court programs. Committee will evaluate any additional goals as well as an action plan timeline for 2015 at the next meeting.
