Meeting Minutes

 

Committee Members Present: Brown, Dederich, Deitrich, Felton, Gavin, Geoghegan, Pate, Wilson

Committee Members Absent: Bailey, Hameau, Jelinek, Templin,

 

Call to Order: called meeting to order @ 3:01 pm

 

Approve Agenda: Motion by Pate, seconded by Geoghagen to adopt agenda.

 

Approve Minutes: Motion by Pate, seconded by Geoghegan to approve minutes from September 18, 2019 meeting.

 

Public Comment: none

 

Communications: none.

 

Review of 2019 Budget Balance: Pate handed out 2019 YTD budget report document. Not all budgeted items were expended in 2019. Treasurer’s project budgeted in 2019, will be completed 2020. County Surveyor’s 2019 corner projects were not all expended, completing 2019 projects in early 2020.

 

Discussion of Land Records Activities & Updates by Department:

2019 WLIP Strategic Inititative Grant – Felton & Dederich discussed these projects.  They will be completed in 2019. Need to finalize by March 2020. Dederich noted that there are 98 corners total for these projects.

 

2020 WLIP Strategic Inititative Grant – Felton & Dederich discussed these projects. These projects will be started after completion of 2019 grant projects. Dederich noted there are 88 corners total for these projects.

 

2020 Orthophotography/LiDAR – Felton discussed this.  The Federal grant was approved, waiting for the final grant contract for LiDAR. The Orthophotography contract was reviewed and has been signed and finalized with vendor. Both flights will be flown in March/April.  Will update the council in May on these.

 

2020 Census – The Census will go out spring of 2020. Land Info/GIS staff has completed work for the PSAP and related addressing updates to help with and enhance the 2020 Census work.  Will update the council on the Census process as it progresses, and once we have heard from Census on next steps.

 

Final 2020 Land Records Budget – Pate handed out 2020 budget document.  Compared 2019 to 2020. Main items to consider are that adjustments were made for ½ GIS Analyst salary, which is fully funded under Treasurer’s budget starting 2020. Discussed the final numbers budgeted. If all that is budgeted is expended LRM budget will be approximately $154, 135.00.

 

Agenda items for next meeting: 2021 Goals & Objectives, Update on LiDAR/Ortho project; Update on Remonumentation Grants, 2020 Summer Intern projects
