Background

Background:   As a result of the COVID-19 Crisis, on March 17, 2020 the Sauk County Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 59-2020 declaring an emergency in Sauk County pursuant to section 323.11 of the Wisconsin Statutes (“Emergency Declaration”). The Emergency Declaration contained an expiration date of April 30, 2020 with regard to certain procedures pertaining to meetings. The COVID-19 Crisis continues to pose those threats set forth in the Emergency Declaration making an extension of the expiration date appropriate.  On April 21, 2020 the Sauk County Emergency Declaration was amended to remain in effect and expire on May 26, 2020.
