AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE THREE INFECTION CONTROL ROBOTIC DEVICES UTILIZING GRANT FUNDING

With the recent events of the COVID-19 pandemic the need to look at innovative and alternative options to reduce the spread of infectious materials in communal living centers such as the jail and health care facilities is imperative. The robotic infection control devices would handle the disinfection of cells, rooms, common areas in the Jail, Courthouse, West Square Building and the Health Care Center using ultraviolet light to mitigate the risk of exposure to infectious material to both county staff and residents.
