Purpose

Potential name change for the Committee, to include UW-Extension in the name

Background

BACKGROUND: Concerns were raised by the UW-Extension – Area Extension Director that with the consolidation of the committees, it is difficult to decipher from the Land Resources and Environment Committee title that UW-Extension reports to this Committee.  The Land Resources and Environment Committee discussed a potential name change for the Committee, to include UW-Extension in the name.  As a result of those discussions the following County Board Rule Amendment is being offered for consideration.
