AUTHORIZING TO CONTRACT WITH FAHRNER FOR SEALCOATING AND RESTRIPING PAVEMENT FOR THE SAUK COUNTY HEALTH CARE CENTER

Wear and tear on the pavement has resulted in some areas with cracks and worn paint. We have anticipated needing to reseal this year in order to prevent larger costly repairs at a later date. Capital expense budget monies have been set aside in 2017 budget to address this issue.]  

WHEREAS, the 2017 Health Care Center Budget contains $93,000 allocated for the purchase of capital expenses of which the sealcoating and restriping was budgeted for; and,  

            WHEREAS, the Health Care Center currently is in need of sealcoating and restriping to prevent further costly damages to pavement areas at the facility, and a bid was received from Fahrner in the amount of $10,150.00 to address those issues; and,

WHEREAS, after examination of the bid the Board of Trustees recommends entering into contract with Fahrner.

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors,

met in regular session, that the Sauk County Health Care Center be and hereby is authorized to enter into contract with Fahrner for sealcoating and restriping of the pavement at the Sauk County Health Care Center in the amount of $10,150.

For consideration by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors on October 17, 2017.
