Purpose

The purpose of the request is to allow for the creation of a 20 acre lot in an Exclusive Agricultural Zoning District in the Town of Westfield.

Background

The 20 acres was a remenant left due to an illegal land split.   Applying for a rezone was an option to correct the illegal land split.  The office suggested against the rezone due to a spot zoning.  However, the Committee chose to rezone the property during their committee meeting on May 27th, 2014.
