Aggressive Dog

     The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office is informing the public of a potential dangerous dog in the Dellona Township area of Sauk County.  It has been reported that this dog is responsible for aggressively confronting people on two known occasions in the area in the past week.  The reported area is from Town Hall Road to the Coonbluff Road area.  This dog has been described as looking like a wolf or a wolf/dog hybrid.  It is large, black in color, black eyes and pointed ears.

     The Department of Natural Resources investigated the paw prints left at the scene of one of the incidents.  They have determined that this particular animal is not a wolf; however, they would request to view any photographs taken of this animal.

     The Sheriff’s Office would like the public to be aware of this, especially as the weather is turning nicer and people and pets may be outside more frequently.  It has been reported that this animal has been very aggressive toward people.  If this animal is seen we request that you contact the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office at 1-800-377-1195.
