Burglaries in the Hillpoint Area

On March 17, 2015, the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office took two separate burglary reports to businesses in the Hillpoint area.  Both burglaries occurred sometime during the late evening hours of the 16^th or early morning hours of the 17^th.  It appears the perpetrators were looking for money as nothing else was noted missing from either business.

Sheriff Chip Meister says, “If you see anything or anyone suspicious in nature, don’t hesitate to call your local law enforcement agency.  Protect yourself from a potential burglary by making sure you keep your doors and windows locked when you’re not around.  Don’t advertise on social media that you are going to be away for an extended period of time.”
