Crash Victim Identified
The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office has identified the female that was struck by a semi on STH 33 in the TWP of Delton, County of Sauk, on February 3, 2017 as Jill R. Shortreed, age 52, from Reedsburg. The operator of the semi was identified as Jess E. Powers, age 43, from North Freedom. Shortreed continues to recover from her injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team.
