CTH H Crash

News Release

On July 21, 2017 at 5:21pm the Sauk County Communications Center received a call reporting a two vehicle crash on CTH H in the Township of Dellona.

Sheriff's Deputies, EMS and fire department personnel responded.  An initial investigation revealed that Tyson T. Holtz, age 18 of Reedsburg, WI, was driving west on CTH H in a 2004 Audi when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed the centerline.  His vehicle struck an eastbound 2002 Chevrolet truck head-on.  The truck was being operated by Destiny R. Shore, age 19 of Hillsboro, WI.  The front seat passenger in the Shore vehicle was an 11 year old male from Sun Prairie, WI, and the rear seat passenger was David D. Prell, age 17 of Sun Prairie, WI.

All vehicle occupants were transported to area hospitals for serious, but non-life threatening, injuries.  Air bags deployed in both vehicles and it is believed that all occupants were wearing seatbelts.  Alcohol was not a factor.

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Wisconsin State Patrol, Delton Fire Department, Reedsburg Fire Department, Reedsburg Ambulance, Baraboo Ambulance and Dells-Delton Ambulance.  This crash remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.
