CTH H Crash

On 10/09/2017, at about 10:22 a.m., the Sauk County Communications Center received a report of a 2 vehicle crash on CTH H at Acorn Ln in the township of Dellona.  The Sauk County Sheriff’s Department, Reedsburg Ambulance, Reedsburg Fire Department, and Med Flight were all dispatched to the scene.

The initial investigation revealed that a 2000 Pontiac Montana was being operated westbound on CTH H by Jessica Thomas, age 30, of Reedsburg.  The Pontiac crossed the center line and collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze that was being operated eastbound on CTH H by Tracy Pierce, age 42 of Wonewoc.  Thomas, Pierce, and a passenger in the Chevrolet, Sarah Davis, age 38 of Wonewoc were all injured in the crash.  Both Thomas and Pierce were subsequently transferred to UW Hospital in Madison due to their injuries.

All of the occupants were wearing seatbelts.  Alcohol and speed are not suspected to be factors in the crash.  This incident remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department.
