Drug Investigation
News Release
September 14, 2011
On September 14, 2011 the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department along with the Sauk County Drug Task force arrested Paul H. Gates, age 55, and Neil P. Gates, age 33, for several drug offenses. Paul is the father of Neil and both subjects are from Spring Green.
The investigation was conducted on land in the Township of Honey Creek and a residence in the Town of Spring Green. Paul Gates has been charged with Manufacturing THC, Maintaining A Drug Dwelling, Possession Of THC With The Intent To Deliver, and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia. Neil Gates has been charged with Party To A Crime Of Manufacturing THC.
As a result of the investigation over 100 cultivated marijuana plants were seized. Estimated street value of the seizure is $130,000. This investigation is continuing by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department and the Sauk County Drug Task Force.
