Fatal Crash - Town of Bear Creek

On November 22, 2014, at 7:22 A.M., the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one car crash on CTH G at McCarville Rd. in the Town of Bear Creek, where a 34 year old man from Hillpoint was pronounced dead at the scene.  The man was identified as Boris Rubio.  Rubio was the only occupant in the vehicle.  The initial investigation reveled that Rubio was traveling northbound on CTH G at which time he left the roadway and rolled the vehicle several times.  Icy road conditions along with dense fog are contributing circumstances.  Rubio was not wearing a seatbelt.

Plain Fire Department and Plain EMS assisted with extrication at the scene.  The accident remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office and the Sauk County Coroner’s Office.
