Fatal Motorcycle Accident

On September 12, 2010 at 12:20AM, the Sauk County Sheriff's Department received a call of a motorcycle accident on Hillside Drive in the Town of Delton.  Upon arrival at the scene it was determined the driver was alone on the motorcycle and no other vehicles were involved.  The driver was not wearing a helmet and left the roadway striking a tree.  Emergency response units from Delton Fire and EMS and police units from Lake Delton Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol and the Sauk County Sheriff's Department also responded.  The driver was pronounced dead at the scene suffering from massive head injuries by Assistant Sauk County Coroner Mary Shields.  Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor to the accident.

The driver's name is Curt D. Dollar, age 48, of Wisconsin Dells.
