Homicide

On Sunday September 22, 2019 the Sauk County Communications Center received a call of a person down who was located in an isolated, rural area off of Levee Road in the Township of Fairfield in northeast Sauk County.  The reporting person said they did not believe that the person was breathing.

Deputies and Detectives responded and found a middle aged white male deceased.  An autopsy was conducted on September 23, 2019 determining that the cause of death was homicide.  The name of the victim is not being released at this time due to notification of next of kin.

There are no additional details available at this time.  Once additional, releasable information is available, a new press release will follow.
