LaValle Man Charged with Burglary and Theft

On April 8, 2012 the Sauk County Sheriff's Office responded to the Reedsburg Outdoors Club for an alarm. As a result of the investigation, Moisesgeovanni Gomez, age 19, from LaValle, was arrested and booked into the Sauk County Jail for burglary and theft.

A sheriffs deputy observed a vehicle leaving the Outdoors Club upon their arrival. The vehicle was stopped and Gomez was identified as the operator. A preliminary investigation revealed that Gomez did make forced entry to the Outdoors Club and stole items from inside the Club. Stolen property located in Gomez's vehicle included ammunition, beer, soda, and snacks.

Two passengers in the vehicle, a female adult and a male juvenile, were interviewed and released.

If convicted, Gomez could face a penalty of up to 13 years in prison, or a fine of up to $35,000, or both.
