Merrimac Battery-Seeking Information

On Saturday, September 25th, 2021, at about 12:15 am, a man who had significant head and facial injuries among others was dropped off at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo. 

Additional investigation revealed that the man likely received these injuries from a physical altercation in or near the Village of Merrimac between 9:00 pm and 12:00 am on September 25th.

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office is looking to speak with individuals who may have information on the physical altercation or may have seen this man in the Merrimac area during the specified times on September 25th.

Information obtained from an earlier press release on this case led Detectives to the occupants, and vehicle that dropped this man off at St. Clare Hospital on 09/25/2021. Both occupants have been identified and the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office is no longer looking to speak with them.
