Missing Juvenile Located

On Friday, January 22nd, 2021 at approximately 1:31 PM the Sauk County Dispatch Center received a report of a missing juvenile from an address in the township of Woodland, Sauk County. It was reported that the juvenile had left the residence on foot approximately two hours prior and had not yet returned. 

Sauk County Sheriff's deputies and detectives responded to the scene and began to coordinate a search for the child. The child was located safe in a barn at the address of S167 County Road G at approximately 5:14 PM. The child was returned home and reunited with family. 

Deputies utilized a K9 unit along with multiple drones in the search for the child. Assisting the sheriff's office at the scene were members of Wonewoc First Response, Wonewoc Fire Department, and the Juneau County Sheriff's Office.
