North Freedom Thefts

Two juveniles, ages twelve and sixteen, from North Freedom have been referred to juvenile court in connection to the recent acts involving entry to unlocked vehicles, thefts, and the theft of a motor vehicle. All these incidents occurred in the Village of North Freedom.

Working off a tip from a citizen, Deputies were able to locate and identify the juveniles after they attempted to enter the citizen’s vehicles.

During a search of the juvenile’s residence, Detectives located items taken during a theft from an unlocked vehicle on 12/24/2023, and the theft of the motor vehicle on 01/13/2024.

This investigation is on-going and additional referrals to juvenile court are anticipated.
