OWI #3

On December 24, 2024 at approximately 11:38PM, Deputies from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the area of County Highway T and Gillem Road, in the Town of Fairfield, for a report of a single vehicle crash. As Deputies approached the area, a Deputy observed a vehicle leaving the scene that had damage consistent with being in a crash. The Deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the operator, who was identified as Annette Finseth, age 46, of Baraboo, WI.

While speaking with Finseth, the Deputy observed signs of impairment. Finseth was asked to perform field sobriety tests. As a result of those tests, Finseth was placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated – 3^rd Offense.

Charges of Operating While Intoxicated – 3^rd Offense, open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, failure to maintain control, failure to report crash to police, and Hit & Run are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.
