On March 3, 2025, at approximately 8:07PM, a Deputy with the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop on a vehicle on Little George Road in the Town of Delton. The Deputy made contact with the operator, who was identified as Ian Lewis, age 40, of Baraboo, WI.

While speaking with Lewis, the Deputy observed signs of impairment. Lewis was asked to perform field sobriety tests. As a result of those tests, Lewis was placed under arrest for Operating While Under the Influence – 3^rd Offense.

During the traffic stop, a Sauk County Sheriff’s Office K-9 was utilized and positively indicated on the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was performed, and multiple drugs and drug paraphernalia were located.

Charges of Operating While Under the Influence – 3^rd Offense, operating while revoked, possession of a schedule I & II narcotic, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.
