On Saturday, April 5, 2025, at approximately 10:29PM a Deputy from the Sauk County Sheriff's Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 33 near Johnson Road in the Town of Greenfield. The Deputy made contact with the operator, who was identified as Mark Anderson, age 35, of Baraboo, WI.
While speaking with Anderson, the Deputy observed signs of impairment. Anderson was asked to perform field sobriety tests. As a result of those tests, Anderson was placed under arrest for Operating while Intoxicated – 3rd Offense.
Charges of Operating while Intoxicated – 3rd Offense, operating while revoked, Failure to install Ignition Interlock Device, Resisting/Obstructing, felony bail jumping, open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, and speeding are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney Office.
