On Saturday, July 13th 2019 at approximately 2:49 AM a Sauk County Sheriff’s Deputy was conducting traffic enforcement on US Highway 12 in the area of Fern Dell Road. The deputy observed a 2014 Kia Optima being operated by Travis Zick, age 40 of Baraboo. The deputy conducted a traffic stop due to a defective registration lamp light.
During contact with Travis the deputy noted signs of impairment. Travis was asked to submit to field sobriety testing which he ultimately failed. Travis was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, 3rd offense and transported to the Sauk County Jail.
