OWI #4

On November 29, 2024, at approximately 11:58AM, a Deputy from the Sauk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a traffic crash on Highway 33 and Man Mound Road, Town of Greenfield, WI. It was reported that as a vehicle turned from Highway 33 onto Man Mound Road, it struck a vehicle waiting at the stop sign to turn from Man Mound Road onto Highway 33. The striking vehicle then left the scene. The vehicle was located by Baraboo Police Department. When a Sauk County Sheriff Office Deputy arrived on scene, contact was made with the operator of the vehicle, identified as Justin R Frohmader, age 43, of Milton, WI.

While speaking with Frohmader, the Deputy observed signs of impairment. Frohmader was asked to perform field sobriety tests. As a result of those tests, Frohmader was placed under arrest for Operating while under the influence – 4^th Offense.

Charges of Operating while under the influence – 4^th Offense, Hit and Run, and probation violation are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.
