OWI 4 Arrest

     On January 27, 2013 at approximately 7:42 am a Sauk County Sheriff’s Deputy was sent to a report of a vehicle parked on the roadway on Water Street and Mirror Lake Road. The Deputy arrived and found a pick up truck parked in the lane of traffic. The vehicle was running, and as the Deputy approached the vehicle, it began to roll forward. After yelling for the driver to stop, the vehicle finally came to rest.
     The Deputy made contact with the operator, identified as Guy J. Wink, age 56, of Reedsburg, WI. Wink showed signs of intoxication and was administered field sobriety tests. A check of Wink’s driving record showed that his drivers license is suspended and that he has 3 prior Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated convictions in the past 5 years.
     Wink failed the field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Sauk County Jail and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle 4th Offense within 5 Years, Operating After Suspension 3rd Offense, Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance, and Non-Registration of a Motor Vehicle.
