OWI 4th w/minor child

On Sunday, August 29th, 2021 at approximately 5:08 PM, a deputy from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department observed a vehicle travelling south on CTH A in the Fairfield Township.  The deputy observed multiple equipment violations on the vehicle.  The deputy stopped the vehicle and made contact with the operator who was identified as Anhinga J. Whitecloud, age 31 of rural Wisconsin Dells.

While speaking to the operator, the deputy observed signs of impairment.  Whitecloud was asked to do field sobriety tests and as a result of those tests, Whitecloud was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, 4th offense w/minor child. That charge is being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office. Whitecloud was transported to the Sauk County Jail.  Whitecloud was also issued multiple other traffic citations.
