OWI #5

On November 2, 2024 at approximately 7:30PM, a Deputy from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 12, near Terrytown Road, in the Village of West Baraboo. The Deputy made contact with the operator, who was identified as Heather M Taylor, age 43, of New Lisbon, WI.

While speaking with Taylor, the Deputy observed signs of impairment. Taylor was asked to perform field sobriety tests. As a result of those tests, Taylor was placed under arrest for Operating While Under the Influence – 5^th Offense.

Charges of Operating While Under the Influence – 5^th Offense and following too close are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.
