OWI 8 Arrest

On May 22, 2011 at 2:01AM, KERRY L. THOMPSON, age 36 of Wisconsin Rapids, was arrested for her 8th offense of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. THOMPSON was stopped on USH 12 near Shady Lane road in the town of Delton for an equipment violation by a Sauk County Deputy. During that traffic stop the Deputy noticed open containers of beer and a strong odor of intoxicants and other physical signs that Thompson had been drinking. As a result of the investigation by the Deputy, Thompson was arrested for the 8th offense OWI and for having open intoxicants in her motor vehicle. Thompson was incarcerated at the Sauk County jail pending a felony bail hearing.
