Plain Burglary

On November 2, 2012, the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office investigated a burglary to a storage shed in the Town of Franklin. As a result of the investigation, William S. Johnson, age 23, from Richland Center and James R. Heather, age 22 from Gotham, have been charged with burglary. Stolen property from the burglary, which exceeded $15,000 in value, has been recovered in Richland County and Camp Point, IL. Johnson and Heather are currently incarcerated in the Richland County Jail. If convicted both subjects could face 15 years imprisonment, a fine up to $50,000 or both.
