Search Warrant in Village of Merrimac Leads to Drug Arrest

April 5, 2012

On April 4, 2012 the Sauk County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in the Village of Merrimac. As a result, Christopher L. Martinez, age 17, of Merrimac, was arrested and booked into the Sauk County Jail for 3 counts of Delivery of Cocaine. Evidence recovered at the residence included 30 grams of marijuana, $1,000 in cash, drug paraphernalia, scales, and material used to package drugs.

The Sauk County Drug Task Force is made up of officers from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, Baraboo Police Dept., Sauk Prairie Police Dept., Reedsburg Police Dept., Spring Green Police Dept., and the Wisconsin Dells Police Dept.
