Snowmobile Crash

On Saturday, February 2nd 2019 at approximately 12:48 AM the Sauk County Dispatch Center was notified of a snowmobile accident off of State Highway 33, approximately two miles south of the Village of La Valle. The crash reportedly involved a snowmobile vs. tree.

Deputies arriving on scene located a 2014 Arctic Cat snowmobile with front end damage, approximately 300 yards from the roadway. The operator of the snowmobile suffered injuries and was carried out by the La Valle Fire Department and turned over to Reedsburg EMS. Med-Flight was requested at the scene and the operator was transported to Madison. The incident remains under investigation.

Assisting the Sauk County Sheriff's Office at the scene were members of the La Valle Fire Department, Reedsburg EMS and Reedsburg Police Department.
