STH 23 Crash

On August 24, 2017 at approximately 10:37am the Sauk County Communications Center was notified of a two vehicle head-on crash on STH 23 just north of Dellwood Road in the Township of Dellona.  Sauk County Sheriff’s Deputies, Wisconsin State Patrol Troopers, Delton Fire Department and Dells-Delton Ambulance were sent to the scene.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer operated by Sarah M. Davis, age 38, of Rock Springs, WI was traveling southbound on STH 23 when it crossed over the centerline and struck a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Susan M. Fiene, age 58, of Lodi, WI.  Both vehicles rolled over due to the impact.  Feine was transported by Dells-Delton Ambulance to St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo and Davis was flown to UW Hospital in Madison by UW Madison Med Flight.

This crash remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.
