Structure Fire
On Monday, February 11th, 2019 at approximately 12:45 AM the Sauk County dispatch center was notified of a structure fire at E859 County Road EE in the township of Woodland.
The reporting party stated that there was a house on fire, possibly started by a wood stove in the basement. All the occupants had safely made it out of the house. Emergency responders arrived on scene to locate the house completely engulfed in flames. Despite efforts to extinguish the blaze the structure is considered a total loss. There were no injuries reported.
Assisting the Sauk County Sheriff's Office on the scene were fire departments from Cazenovia and Wonewoc as well as EMS from Cazenovia.
