The motorcycle passenger was Dawn M. Ryczek, age 61, of Reedsburg, WI.  She died at the scene from injuries sustained in this crash.

The motorcycle operator was Dennis A. Ryczek, age 61, of Reedsburg, WI.  

The driver of the Jeep was Holly N. McMillin, age 38, of LaValle, WI.

SUV / MOTORCYCLE FATALITY CRASH

AUGUST 21, 2021

On Saturday, August 21st, 2021 at approximately 4:52 PM the Sauk County Dispatch Center received numerous reports of an SUV vs. Motorcycle crash on State Highway 33 east of Emerald Drive in the Township of LaValle. Initial callers stated there were multiple people injured as a result of the crash.

First arriving deputies on scene located a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle that had been struck by a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. Both vehicles were blocking the eastbound lane of Highway 33 with both occupants of the motorcycle having been ejected during the crash. The motorcycle operator, a 61 year old male from Reedsburg, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported from the scene by UW Medflight. The motorcycle occupant, a 61 year old female from Reedsburg, was found to be deceased by responding medical personnel. The operator of the Jeep, a 38 year old female from LaValle, was not injured as a result of the crash. 

The roadway was closed for approximately four hours while Sauk County Sheriff's Office deputies investigated the crash scene. Names of those involved are being withheld at this time pending notification of family and the crash remains under investigation. 

Assisting the Sheriff's Office at the scene were members of the LaValle Fire Department and First Responders, Reedsburg Fire Department and EMS, UW Medflight and Steve's Towing.
