Town of Fairfield Crash

January 2, 2013

On January 1, 2013 at approximately 2:00 PM the Sauk County Communications Center received a call for a two car traffic crash on CTK A at CTK U in the Township of Fairfield.

Upon the arrival of the deputies two vehicles were found in the southbound ditch. The investigation by the deputies revealed the a GMC Envoy being operated by Allan L Fraker, age 17, of Pardeeville, WI was west bound on CTK U and failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection of CTK A. As the vehicle driven by Fraker entered the intersection it was struck by a south bound Buick Century being driven by June Marrin , age 83 of Baraboo. A total of eight individuals were transported to St Clare Hospital and treated for their injuries as a result of the crash.

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Baraboo Ambulance Service, Baraboo Fire Department and the Dells – Delton EMS. The accident remains under investigation.
