Town Of LaValle traffic crash injures two.

On October 21, 2014, the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two car crash on STH 33, west of CTH V, in the Town of LaValle.  The initial investigation reveled that a 37 year old man from Reedsburg was eastbound on STH 33 at which time he crossed the center line and struck a westbound vehicle being operated by a 63 year old man from Fort Collins, Colorado.

Both operators received serious injuries and both were airlifted to the UW Hospital in Madison by Med Flight. Names of the operators are being withheld until family members are notified. Seat belt information and driver conditions are unknown at this time. The crash remains under investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sauk County Accident Reconstruction Team, LaValle Fire Department, LaValle EMS, Reedsburg EMS, and the Sauk County Highway Department.
