Tractor Accident

On June 8, 2017 at 6:49pm the Sauk County Communications Center received a call regarding a person injured in a tractor rollover incident on CTH EE in the Township of Woodland.

Sheriff’s Deputies and Cazenovia Fire and Ambulance personnel responded.  An initial investigation revealed that a male was attempting to move an old vehicle in his yard with a utility tractor when the tractor overturned causing severe crushing injuries to the male’s torso.  He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Sauk County Coroner’s Office.

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Cazenovia Fire Department and Cazenovia Ambulance.  The name of the tractor operator is being withheld at this time.
