Traffic Accident STH 60

On June 13, 2020 at approximately 10:57 am the Sauk County Communications Center received a call of a traffic accident involving a motorcycle and tractor on State Hwy 60 near Rainbow Road in the Town of Spring Green.

The initial investigation shows a motorcycle was traveling west on State Hwy 60 when it attempted to pass an agriculture sprayer. As the motorcycle was passing, the sprayer began making a left turn onto Rainbow Rd at which time the motorcycle struck the sprayer. The operator of the motorcycle, a 48 year old female of Portage was transported to UW Hospital via UW Med Flight. The operator of the agriculture sprayer was not injured.

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Spring Green Fire Department, Spring Green Ambulance Service and UW Med Flight. This traffic accident remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, names of the parties involved are not being released at this time.
