Traffic Crash- Town of Spring Green

On April 14th, 2019 at approximately 11:10am the Sauk County Communications Center was notified of a motor vehicle crash on CTH JJ and Peck Road in the Township of Spring Green. Initial information received by the dispatch center was of a two-vehicle crash with injuries.

Preliminary investigation showed that a 2010 Ford Fusion was being operated southbound on Peck Road by Asher Shreeran, age 37, of Lone Rock. The Ford Fusion failed to yield the right of way to a 2003 Ford Taurus that was being operated eastbound on CTH JJ by Hannah Brown, age 23, of Lone Rock. The vehicles collided at the intersection and came to rest in the south ditch line east of Peck Road. An occupant from the Ford Fusion, a juvenile male, age 5, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injury. He was transported to UW-Hospital by UW-Med flight. Shreeran and a second occupant of the Ford Fusion, a juvenile male, age 9, were transported by ambulance to UW-Hospital with minor injuries. Brown was also transported by ambulance to UW-Hospital with a minor injury.

Shreeran will be issued traffic citations to include failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.   

Assisting the Sheriff’s Office at the scene were members of the Spring Green Fire Department, Spring Green EMS, Lone Rock EMS, Plain EMS, UW Med Flight and George’s Auto.
