Great Sauk Trail Public Information Forum

Planning is underway for the proposed “Great Sauk Trail” that will convert eight miles of unused rail corridor into a multi-use trail from Sauk City through the Sauk Prairie Recreation Area and into Devil’s Lake State Park. A trail commission comprised of appointed representatives from Sauk County and trail-adjacent local units of overnment has been formed to develop the future trail. As part of the planning process the Great Sauk Trail (GST) Commission is seeking public input on a number of key decisions.

How you can get involved:

The Great Sauk Trail Commission meetings are generally held the third Wednesday of each month from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Sauk City Village Hall located at 726 Water Street, Sauk City WI  53583.
