SAUK COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

MINUTES

 

Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee

Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

Third Floor County Board Gallery Room 326A, West Square Building

 

Members Present:  Spencer, Braunschweig, Whitsell

Members Absent:  Moore (excused); McAuliffe (excused)

County Personnel:  Susan Blodgett, ADRC; Tony Tyczynski, Veterans and Robin Kitzinger, ADRC

Others Present: 

 

Chair Spencer called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.

 

MOTION (Whitsell/Braunschweig) to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried unanimously and agenda adopted.

 

MOTION (Braunschweig/Whitsell) to approve the minutes of the regular meeting on June 15, 2018.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Public Comment:  None

 

Communications:  None

 

Next Meeting Date and Time:  

Next meeting date and time: Thursday, August 3, 2018 at 1:45 p.m. West Square Building, 2nd Floor, Room 213. 

 

Tony Tyczynski, Veterans Service Office:

a) Tyczynski reviewed the department service trends and updates.  Discussion followed; no action taken.

b,c) Tyczynski presented the monthly financial statement and a list of invoices for his department.  Discussion followed.

MOTION (Braunschweig/Whitsell) to approve the June 2018 bills in the amount of $1,039.18.  Motion carried unanimously. 

d) Tyczynski presented a proposed Veterans 2019 budget.  Discussion followed.

MOTION (Braunschweig/Whitsell) to approve the proposed budget be forwarded on.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Susan Blodgett, Aging & Disability Resource Center:

a) Blodgett requested permission to request bids for new bus and new passenger van.  Discussion followed.

MOTION (Whitsell/Braunschweig) to approve the ADRC proceed in obtaining bids to purchase a new passenger van and a 30 passenger bus.  Motion approved unanimously.

b) Blodgett reviewed the departmental service trends and updates.  Discussion followed.  No action taken.

c,d) Blodgett presented the monthly financial statement and a list of invoices for her department.

MOTION (Braunschweig/Whitsell) to approve the June 2018 bills in the amount of $31,424.21.  Motion carried unanimously. 

e) Blodgett presented a proposed draft of the 2019 budget.  Discussion followed.  No action taken.

 

Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eagle Country Board Update:  No report; next meeting July 27, 2018.

 

Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee:   No report; next meeting August 28, 2018.

 

Transportation Coordination Committee:  No report; next meeting August 28, 2018.

 

 

 

MOTION (Braunschweig/Whitsell) to adjourn until Thursday, August 3, 2018 at 1:45 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 3:57 p.m.
