Curry called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.
MOTION (Riek/Bushweiler) to adopt the agenda. Motion carried unanimously.
MOTION (Riek/Dorner) to approve the meeting minutes from November 11th, 2020. Motion carried unanimously.

Tony Tyczynski, Veterans Service Office:

VSO departmental updates and service trends

Tyczynski discussed the outreach by VSO; He stated that VSO the outreach is very spotty now due to Covid. Discussion followed, No action taken.

Tyczynski discussed the current Veterans case trends –getting the exams done due to Covid has become a challenge. Discussion followed;

Tyczynski reviewed the year to date activity for his department. He presented to the board his monthly report. Tyczynski informed the board that in November he met with Brent Miller, Sauk County Administrative Coordinator and discussed the opportunities for new position – Veterans readjustment Counselor. Miller stated that Sauk County will move forward with the request for new position in 2021. Discussion followed. No action taken
b) Tyczynski presented the monthly financial statements for his department. Discussion Followed, No action taken
c) Consider approval of the Monthly Invoices – Tyczynski informed the board that VSO don’t have monthly invoices to be approved. Discussion followed. No action taken.
Susan Blodgett, Aging & Disability Resource Center

Blodgett presented to the board her monthly report. She informed the board members that ADRC held a Public hearing on November 19th, 2020 for transportation grant 85.21.Blodgett informed the board that our transportation coordinator is preparing the quarterly reports for our transportation grants. Discussion followed.
MOTION (Bushweiler/Polivka) to approve submitting the application for 85.21 Transportation grant. Vote all in favor.
Blodgett informed the board members that due to COVID our staff is rotating working remotely and in the office. Our Nutrition program see an increase of the Home delivery meals, we are starting to do a BINGO with our HDM clients. ADRC is also doing a Pen Pal program in Reedsburg. ADRC purchased 3 freezers to start saving meals for our frozen route. Discussion followed

Discussion and possible approval of authorizing a contract with Sauk County Aging and Disability Resource Center Senior Meal Program and The Shed for the provision of congregate meals to the Sauk County Senior Meals Program- Blodgett informed the board that we don’t have a dining center in Spring Green, The Shed is the only place where people can have twice a week carry out meal. We started working with The Shed more than 6 months ago and we have around 70-80 carry out meals per week. This restaurant model is available only 2 days a week. Discussion followed.
MOTION (Polivka/Bushweiler) to approve the 2021 contract between ADRC and The Shed for the provision of congregate meals to the Sauk County Senior Meals program. Vote all in favor.

Discussion and possible approval of authorizing a contract with Sauk County Aging and Disability Resource Center Senior Meal Program and Reedsburg Country Club for the provision of congregate meals to the Sauk County Senior Meals Program – Blodgett informed the board that in the begging of 2020 we decided to start a trial period of restaurant model dining option for seniors for two days a week at Reedsburg Country Club. We had huge interest from people from Reedsburg community and we provide between 90-110 carry out meals monthly. The Reedsburg Country club provide soup and salad carry out for two days a week. Discussion followed.
MOTION (Dorner/Polivka) to approve the 2021 contract between ADRC and Reedsburg Country club for the provision of congregate meals to the Sauk County Senior Meals program. Vote all in favor.

Discussion and possible approval of resolution supporting increased funding for Aging and Disability Resource Centers – Blodgett presented to the board a report from Tom Basley showing the ADRC reinvestment project recommendations for the allocations of State GPR funding to ADRC’s. Discussion followed.
MOTION (Polivka/Bushweiler) to approve the resolution supporting increased funding for ADRC’s. Vote all in favor.
e-f) Blodgett presented the monthly financial statements and list of invoices for her department. Discussion followed.
MOTION (Polivka/Riek) to approve the November 2020 bills in the amount of $ 20, 500.62. Motion carried unanimously.
