Minor Guardianships were modified under Wisconsin Act 109 on August 1, 2020.

Minor  Guardianship of the Person  (now under Chapter 48 of the Wisconsin State Statutes); Minor Guardianship of the Estate (remains in Chapter 54 of the Wisconsin State Statutes).

Separate petitions required for Person and Estate to be filed in two separate cases.

Minor Guardianship of the Person

Please note:

A $250.00 Guardian ad Litem fee is assessed for the filing of a Minor Guardianship of the Person and/or Minor Guardianship of the Estate.

A $250.00 Guardian ad Litem fee is assessed for a filing of Petition to Terminate Guardianship.
